How does number-to-words work?▼
The tool converts integers up to billions into English words. For example, 1,234,567 becomes 'one million, two hundred thirty-four thousand, five hundred sixty-seven'. Decimals are truncated for the words format.
Can I convert a number to hexadecimal?▼
Yes — integer numbers show binary (base 2), octal (base 8), and hexadecimal (base 16) representations. Negative or non-integer numbers show 'N/A' for these formats since they only apply to non-negative integers.
What is scientific notation?▼
